Syracuse, NY - A Syracuse man shocked while operating a power floor sander remains in critical condition this morning in Upstate University Hospital.

Donald Sweeney, 35, was operating the sander on the floor of his home at 122 Lillian Ave. Thursday afternoon when he was shocked, Syracuse police said. Firefighters restarted his heart and he was taken to Upstate University Hospital.

I've messed up my life , and You died for my sins . I never meant to do this on purpose Lord I just wasn't smart enough , now I see it . I know I've been raised to believe You will take care of things if I trust You but I'm so afraid now of what's going to happen. My crazy red headed radio friend with the raspy voice is loosing her battle with Stage 4 Ovarian Cancer. She was diagnosed last year in March and has weathered a brave battle with a hysterectomy, radical chemo and now hormone therapy. Her husband, Brian, and daughter, Abby, have been there with her the whole time. Friends and family have provided a wealth of much needed support along the way. I'm a long distance friend who's asking for prayers of comfort for Teresa and her love ones for whatever time she has left. Heavenly Father, give them all the strength, dignity and love that is needed to help them through this tough time.
